Users review: Do not watch the trailer! or at least try. I went into this movie knowing only the title and the fact that I was expecting a rather scary ... really scary movie. Well, I was lucky, as Sinister Sinister is just that ... a lot! I say try the trailers if you can avoid it, because a lot of shows, although having said that you will probably be included in the film that you will forget what you saw and are still scared, BOO ! So :) All the actors do a good job, Ethan Hawke is solid, not sure about the chemistry between him and his wife, but I think it is of little relevance in this movie. The direçãoe edition of the film is smooth, with angles and interesting shots. This is great and so are their nervous moments, even if it contains some of the horror Clich? S.The plot is simple and follows true-crime writer Ellison (Ethan Hawke) as he discovers a box of home movies and found footage of murders his family in danger. Some people can the credibility of the central ethos evil hate films protagonist, but I found the original mythology created here, it adds something new to the table. Even though the film is a success (im guessing it might be), the character of evil aka Bagoul undoubtedly a new item for Halloween stores! Although not a watershed in the genre, and I would easily say this is the scariest movie of the year and if not, well, that's just a win-win for all of us! ((Star Rating 7 = good, 8 is very good. 9 beautiful epic 10)
